BIOGRAPHY

  In the Beginning  
Chase's parents were both gumihos. They raised him with empathy towards everyone and everything. It was something that was instilled into him at a young age. His parents owned the top hotel chain in Korea and China and expected him to take over when it was his time to do so. He was put in charge of controlling the Chinese properties and traveled for business.While in China, they believed that he was huli jing and was basically placed on the pedestal of being worshiped by the people. They thought his species was known for bringing good luck and prosperity as well as healing, fertility services, or delivering moral advice to those who needed it. He was given offerings and many people loved and worshiped him.Not every good thing lasts forever, there had been rumors about people believing that the huli jing's had brought bad luck onto the village. This caused the emperor to hunt down and shun any fox species. The people were ordered to destroy the temples that were built for worshiping the fox spirit and it forced Chase into hiding. They terminated their properties that existed in China and he was sent back home to Korean.It was understandable to get upset over being shunned from a place he called home for so long. He figured if the people wanted to think of him as a monster, then he should give them what they wanted. He resorted to trickery as well as luring people away so he could drain them of their life sources and master the art of disguising himself.One day, he met a man that he couldn’t bear to drain the life force out of, not after he had started to develop feelings for them. They worshiped the ground he stood on and made him feel special.Just as things were getting better, one of his friends had gotten too close and wanted the other man to them self and tried to fight Chase. Chase ended up winning but that didn’t stop his friend from wanting someone to worship them and they figured if they couldn’t have what Chase had then they would just have to find a way so that none of them could have that. His friend paid someone else to lure Chase's lover away while Chase was performing acts of charity and they drained his lover’s life force and all Chase found was the empty corpse in the house.He mourned over the loss of his lover in solitude for many years as he strengthened and improved upon his skills and strictly told himself he would would prove that he could be the leader his parents wanted him to be. When they both died, he took over the company fully.  In the Present 
Currently, Chase has both Alexander and Joonwoo. He has vowed to protect both of them.
